It's a duckling bridge, sure, because the little ones are completely unable to hop up over the edge of the Drumheller fountain. But it presumably makes it easier for the adult ducks to wander in and out too -- as well as just providing a comfortable spot to sit and clean their plumage.
Make way for ducklings! That was one of my favorite books when I was little, no wonder I became a double duck :) This bridge is sooo cute!!
