Last weekend thousands of librarians descended on Seattle for the ACRL conference. I got to join them (thanks UW!, thanks UW donors!) for several days worth of presentations, workshops, and other events by turns amusing, informative, or vacuous. The convention center itself tends more towards the latter, but it's definitely got it's moments.
Sorry, no pictures of the librarians themselves, but they were steely eyed and fierce i tell you, unwavering despite all.
you're a much better blog writer than I :) And I'm glad you got a pic of the convention center, I had a hard time finding good ones on flickr! Did you get any of the poster display? Maybe, around sunset?
