Last weeks was the end of winter quarter at the University. I realized that i am much more removed now from the cyclical flow of the academic calendar. One of the biggest indicators for me that is was finals week was merely noticing -- as i came into the library in the morning -- a greater than usual amount of coffee cups and snack wrappers in the trash.
